Verbal Opt-In Policy

This Verbal Opt-In Policy explains how LaunchCulture.io ("LaunchCulture," "we," "us," or "our") obtains consent before sending marketing text messages (SMS/MMS) or commercial email to local business owners and authorized representatives. It applies to outreach related to preview websites, hosting plans, and related services offered by LaunchCulture.
1. Who we are
LaunchCulture.io is operated by Emet Interactive, LLC. We help local businesses get professional websites built, hosted, and managed. When we contact a business, it is usually because we identified the business as a candidate for our website services and, in many cases, prepared a preview site for review.
2. What you are consenting to
If you provide verbal opt-in during a phone call with LaunchCulture or our authorized calling partner, you agree that we may contact you using the phone number or email address you provide for purposes such as:
- Sending a link to view a preview website we prepared for your business
- Following up about website hosting, onboarding, or purchase options
- Answering questions about LaunchCulture services related to your preview site
- Sending occasional service updates about an active LaunchCulture account, if you become a customer
Consent to receive these messages is not required to purchase goods or services from LaunchCulture, and you may decline during the call without penalty.
3. How verbal opt-in works
LaunchCulture may place outbound calls to business phone numbers listed publicly or obtained through legitimate business directories. During the call, our representative or automated calling system will:
- Identify LaunchCulture as the caller
- Explain that we prepared a preview website for the business (when applicable)
- Ask whether you would like to receive follow-up information by text message, email, or both
- Confirm the specific phone number and/or email address where messages should be sent
- Inform you that message and data rates may apply for text messages
- Inform you how to opt out before any marketing message is sent
We only send SMS or marketing email after you clearly agree on the call. If you do not agree, we will not add your number or email to our messaging programs for that outreach campaign. We may log the date, time, and outcome of the call for compliance and quality purposes.
4. SMS program details
If you opt in to text messages, you may receive recurring automated and non-automated texts from LaunchCulture at the mobile number you confirmed on the call. Message frequency varies based on your engagement and whether you become a customer. Message and data rates may apply.
You can cancel SMS at any time by replying STOP to any LaunchCulture text message. After you send STOP, we will send a one-time confirmation that you have been unsubscribed. For help with text messages, reply HELP or contact us at support@launchculture.io.
5. Email program details
If you opt in to email during the call, we may send commercial email to the address you confirmed. Emails may include your preview link, pricing information, and follow-up about LaunchCulture services.
You can opt out of marketing email at any time by using the unsubscribe link included in our emails or by contacting us at support@launchculture.io. Please allow reasonable time for us to process your request.
6. Revoking consent
Verbal opt-in applies only to the phone number or email address you confirmed on the call. You may revoke consent at any time using the opt-out methods above, by asking us not to contact you during a future call, or by emailing support@launchculture.io. Once we process your opt-out, we will stop sending marketing messages to that channel unless you opt in again.
7. Privacy
We use contact information you provide during a call to deliver the messages described in this policy and to operate our sales and customer support workflows. We do not sell your phone number or email address to third parties for their own marketing. Service providers such as Twilio (messaging and voice) may process data on our behalf to deliver calls and messages.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this Verbal Opt-In Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date at the top of this page. Material changes will apply to new opt-ins obtained after the updated date unless otherwise required by law.
